A very powerful 'gospely, bluesy, bluegrassy' project recorded 'live' in the chapel of a an old church (circa 1811) in Lillington, NC. Featuring Tim and Danny Carter, The Tashians (Barry and Holly), The Gordons (Gary and Roberta) and many more talented artists from Nashville, North Carolina and other parts of the USA. Longtime Carter Brothers bassist Ross Sermons invisioned and concieved the project which took place over 6 days in November 2004. Danny composed, sang and played guitar on the title track "We Got Work To Do". He also sang and played guitar on "Wade In the Water". Tim sang and played banjo on "Fly Away Home"...Danny plays guitar and sings backup. Both Tim and Danny show up on other tracks as well.
